Colette Haboush

Colette began practicing yoga 15 years ago and fell in love with the mixture of physical exercise (the work-out) and the focus on self-awareness and quieting the mind (the work-in). Colette became 200-hour RYT-certified through Jimmy Barkan at his Summer 2009 teacher training in Fort Lauderdale and began teaching straight out of graduation.
Colette's teaching style focuses on thoughtful attention to detail and good foundational alignment, offering philosophy, precise verbal cues, inspiring music and a bit of humor. She helps her students connect the brain with the body and become more sensitive to subtle postural adjustments, offering amplifications for the advanced and modifications for beginners. Colette blends the physical practice with a spiritual side, leaving her students inspired to grow, thirsty for more and with a greater sense of well-being.
